# Login as a site user.

`POST /v1/sites/users/login`

For given username and password generate site access token

## Request body

- LoginRequest
  - `username` string, required — Username to use for authentication
  - `password` string, required — Password to use for authentication

## Response `200`

OK

- LoginResponse
  - `token` string — JWT token to use for authenticated requests

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Authentication failed
- `403` — Not authorized to access endpoint
- `404` — Given site not found for user
- `405` — Invalid input
- `500` — Internal error
