# Create or update password for the site user.

`POST /v1/sites/users/{user_id}/password`

For a given site user, create a new password when user is initially invited to site or resets their password

## Path parameters

- `user_id` integer, required

## Request body

- CreateSiteUserPasswordRequest
  - `password` string, required — Password for the site user
  - `token` string, required — Token that allows the password to be set

## Response `200`

- `400` — Bad Request
