# Update ftp account

`PATCH /v1/sites/{id}/ftp/accounts`

Updates ftp account for given username

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required — ID of the Site you are interacting with

## Query parameters

- `username` string, required — FTP account username (with domain)

## Request body

- UpdateFtpAccountRequest
  - `new_password` string — Password for the FTP account
  - `quota` integer — FTP disk space quota in MB (0 = unlimited)
  - `homedir` string — Document root for the FTP account (relative the user's home directory)

## Response `200`

OK

  - `success` boolean — whether the request succeeded
  - `errors` string[]
  - `messages` string[], nullable
  - `result` object
    - `quota` integer — FTP disk space quota in MB (unlimited = unlimited)
    - `homedir` string — Document root for the FTP account (relative the user's home directory)

- `404` — Given site not found for user
