# Change file permissions.

`PATCH /v1/sites/{id}/files/chmod`

For a given site, change permissions for given file.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required — ID of the Site you are interacting with

## Request body

- ChangePermissionsRequest
  - `file` string, required — Path and name of the file to change permissions on
  - `permissions` string, required — Linux file permissions such as 0600

## Response `200`

OK
