Weather-incident correlation

Returns aggregated weather conditions across events, grouped by precipitation type and road surface. Shows how weather conditions correlate with incident frequency and severity. Requires Pro+ plan.

Query parameters

jurisdictionstring

Filter by jurisdiction code (e.g., GA, ON, CA). Required on Free plan.

Auto-expansion: querying a state's primary code that has WZDx/CWZ or sub-state regional siblings (see GET /jurisdictions/groups) is expanded transparently to include all members. For example, ?jurisdiction=CA returns rows from CA, WZDX_CA, and 511SF.

To opt out, query a non-primary code directly (?jurisdiction=WZDX_CA returns WZDx-only rows) or pass a comma-separated list explicitly (?jurisdiction=CA,WZDX_CA), which bypasses expansion and matches each code literally.

avg_severitynumber

Weighted severity — critical=4, major=3, moderate=2, else 1.

avg_temp_cnumber

Mean temperature in Celsius, averaged over the normalized temperature_c values. Snapshots whose source unit could not be established are excluded from the average rather than mixed in; when no snapshot in the group has a known unit, the field is omitted.

Sensor "no reading" markers (some feeds signal an offline sensor with an out-of-band value rather than omitting the field) are excluded as well, so the mean reflects real observations only.
