# Get Post

`GET /team-messaging/v1/chats/{chatId}/posts/{postId}`

Returns information about the specified post.

  - `groupId` string — Internal identifier of a group a post belongs to
  - `type` 'TextMessage' | 'PersonJoined' | 'PersonsAdded' — Type of post
  - `text` string — For 'TextMessage' post type only. Text of a message
  - `creatorId` string — Internal identifier of a user - author of a post
  - `addedPersonIds` string[] — For 'PersonsAdded' post type only. Identifiers of persons added to a group
  - `creationTime` string, date-time — Post creation datetime in [ISO 8601](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601) format
  - `lastModifiedTime` string, date-time — Post last modification datetime in [ISO 8601](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601) format
  - `attachments` TMMessageAttachmentInfo[] — List of posted attachments
    - `id` string — Internal identifier of an attachment
    - `type` 'Card' | 'Event' | 'File' | 'Note' | 'Task' — Type of an attachment
    - `fallback` string — A string of default text that will be rendered in the case that the client does not support Interactive Messages
    - `intro` string — A pretext to the message
    - `author` TMAttachmentAuthorInfo
      - `name` string — Name of a message author
      - `uri` string, uri — Link to an author's name
      - `iconUri` string, uri — Link to an image displayed to the left of an author's name; sized 82x82px
    - `title` string — Message title
    - `text` string — A large string field (up to 1000 chars) to be displayed as the body of a message (Supports GlipDown)
    - `imageUri` string, uri — Link to an image displayed at the bottom of a message
    - `thumbnailUri` string, uri — Link to an image preview displayed to the right of a message (82x82)
    - `fields` TMAttachmentFieldsInfo[] — Information on navigation
      - `title` string — Title of an individual field
      - `value` string — Value of an individual field (supports Markdown)
      - `style` 'Short' | 'Long' — Style of width span applied to a field
    - `footnote` TMAttachmentFootnoteInfo
      - `text` string — Text of a footer
      - `iconUri` string, uri — Link to an icon displayed to the left of a footer; sized 32x32px
      - `time` string, date-time — Message creation datetime in ISO 8601 format including timezone
    - `creatorId` string — Internal identifier of a person created an event
    - `startTime` string, date-time — Datetime of starting an event
    - `endTime` string, date-time — Datetime of ending an event
    - `allDay` boolean — Indicates whether an event has some specific time slot or lasts for the whole day(s)
    - `recurrence` EventRecurrenceInfo
      - `schedule` 'None' | 'Day' | 'Weekday' | 'Week' | 'Month' | 'Year' — Event recurrence settings. For non-periodic events the value is `None`. Must be greater or equal to event duration: 1- Day/Weekday; 7 - Week; 28 - Month; 365 - Year
      - `endingCondition` 'None' | 'Count' | 'Date' — Condition of ending an event
      - `endingAfter` integer — Count of event iterations. For periodic events only. Value range is 1 - 10. Must be specified if `endingCondition` is `Count`
      - `endingOn` string, date-time — Iterations ending datetime for periodic events in [ISO 8601](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601) format
    - `color` 'Black' | 'Red' | 'Orange' | 'Yellow' | 'Green' | 'Blue' | 'Purple' | 'Magenta' — Color of Event title, including its presentation in Calendar; or the color of the side border of an interactive message of a Card
    - `location` string — Event location
    - `description` string — Event details
  - `mentions` TMMentionsInfo[]
    - `id` string — Internal identifier of a user
    - `type` 'Person' | 'Team' | 'File' | 'Link' | 'Event' | 'Task' | 'Note' | 'Card' — Type of mention
    - `name` string — Name of a user
  - `activity` string — Label of activity type
  - `title` string — Title of a message. (Can be set for bot's messages only)
  - `iconUri` string, uri — Link to an image used as an icon for this message
  - `iconEmoji` string — Emoji used as an icon for this message
