# Get Custom Greeting

`GET /restapi/v1.0/account/{accountId}/extension/{extensionId}/greeting/{greetingId}`

Returns a custom user greeting by ID.

  - `id` string — Internal identifier of a custom user greeting
  - `type` 'Introductory' | 'Announcement' | 'InterruptPrompt' | 'ConnectingAudio' | 'ConnectingMessage' | 'Voicemail' | 'Unavailable' | 'HoldMusic' | 'PronouncedName' | 'TemplateGreeting' — Type of custom user greeting
  - `contentType` 'audio/mpeg' | 'audio/wav' — Content media type
  - `contentUri` string, uri — Link to a greeting content (audio file)
  - `answeringRule` CustomGreetingAnsweringRuleInfo — Information on an answering rule that the greeting is applied to
    - `uri` string, uri — Canonical URI of an answering rule
    - `id` string — Internal identifier of an answering rule
