# Replace the labels on a view

`PUT /explorer_views/{id}/labels`

Sets the view's labels to exactly `label_uuids`, attaching and detaching as
needed in one transaction. Send an empty array to remove all labels.
Requires edit permission.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

  - `label_uuids` string[], required — The complete set of label UUIDs the view should carry

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - Invalid parameters or malformed request
- `401` — Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication
- `403` — Forbidden - User lacks permission to access this resource
- `404` — Not Found - Resource does not exist
- `422` — Unprocessable Entity - Invalid request parameters or validation errors
- `429` — Too Many Requests - Rate limit exceeded
- `500` — Internal Server Error - Unexpected server error
