# Get the kubeconfig for a test cluster.

`GET /cluster/{cluster_id}/kubeconfig`

Required RBAC Policy: kots/cluster/[:clusterid]/kubeconfig

## Path parameters

- `cluster_id` string, required

## Response `200`

GetClusterKubeconfigResponse contains the response to get a cluster kubeconfig

- object
  - `error` string
  - `kubeconfig` integer[]

## Other responses

- `400` — Returned on bad input
- `401` — Return if the caller is not authorized
- `403` — Returned if the caller does not have the needed permission
- `404` — Returned on resource not found
