# Role

`DELETE /api/3/roles/{id}`

Removes a role with the specified identifier. The role must not be built-in and cannot be currently assigned to any users.

## Path parameters

- `id` RoleNaturalID, required
  - `id` object

## Response `200`

OK

- `500` — Internal Server Error
