# Policy Override Expiration

`PUT /api/3/policy_overrides/{id}/expires`

Set the expiration date for a policy override. This must be a valid date in the future.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required — The identifier of the policy override.

## Request body

- string, date-time — The date the policy override is set to expire. Date is represented in ISO 8601 format.

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Not Found
- `500` — Internal Server Error
- `503` — Service Unavailable
