# Update a Project

`PUT /projects/{owner}/{name}`

## Path parameters

- `owner` string, required
- `name` string, required

## Request body

- ProjectUpdate
  - `name` string — The name of the project. Must be unique to a given owner
  - `description` string — A description of the project
  - `public` boolean — Whether or not a project is publicly viewable

## Response `202`

Accepted

- UpdateAccepted — Accepted request response for existing resource
  - `status` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request
- `403` — Access forbidden
- `404` — Not found
- `422` — Validation Error
- `500` — Server error
