# Add or update an organization role binding

`PATCH /orgs/{name}/role-bindings/{role_name}/{username}`

Upsert a role binding to the org (must have org `owner` role)

## Path parameters

- `name` string, required
- `role_name` string, required
- `username` string, required

## Response `202`

Accepted

- UpdateAccepted — Accepted request response for existing resource
  - `status` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request
- `403` — Access forbidden
- `404` — Not found
- `422` — Validation Error
- `500` — Server error
