# UpdateParams defines a (governance) operation for updating the module
parameters. The authority defaults to the x/gov module account.

`POST /pocket.proof.Msg/UpdateParams`

## Request body

- PocketProofMsgUpdateParams — MsgUpdateParams is the Msg/UpdateParams request type to update all params at once.
  - `authority` string — authority is the address that controls the module (defaults to x/gov unless overwritten).
  - `params` PocketProofParams — Params defines the parameters for the module.
    - `proof_missing_penalty` CosmosBaseV1beta1Coin — Coin defines a token with a denomination and an amount. NOTE: The amount field is an Int which implements the custom method signatures required by gogoproto.
      - `amount` string
      - `denom` string
    - `proof_request_probability` number, double — proof_request_probability is the probability of a session requiring a proof if it's cost (i.e. compute unit consumption) is below the ProofRequirementThreshold.
    - `proof_requirement_threshold` CosmosBaseV1beta1Coin — Coin defines a token with a denomination and an amount. NOTE: The amount field is an Int which implements the custom method signatures required by gogoproto.
      - `amount` string
      - `denom` string
    - `proof_submission_fee` CosmosBaseV1beta1Coin — Coin defines a token with a denomination and an amount. NOTE: The amount field is an Int which implements the custom method signatures required by gogoproto.
      - `amount` string
      - `denom` string

## Response `200`

A successful response.

- PocketProofMsgUpdateParamsResponse — MsgUpdateParamsResponse defines the response structure for executing a MsgUpdateParams message.
