# Get an employee for a company

`GET /employees/{employeeId}`

- `employeeId` string, required

## Response `200`

An employee has been returned

  - `id` string, required — The unique UUID identifier of the employee
  - `firstName` string — Employee first name
  - `lastName` string — Employee last name
  - `email` string — Email
  - `jobTitle` string — Job title
  - `role` string — Role
  - `phone` string — Phone number
  - `avatar` object
    - `url` string — Employee avatar location
  - `code` string — External Id
  - `teamId` string — Team identifier

## Other responses

- `401` — request unauthorized
- `403` — Request forbidden; user has insufficient rights to a resource.
- `404` — An employee does not exist or does not match the company
- `500` — Something went wrong. Please contact the administrator if problems persist.
