# Update organization

`POST /org/{org_id}`

This endpoint lets you update the information of an organization. You need to have `WRITE` access on the organization.

## Path parameters

- `org_id` integer, required

## Request body

- object — The object to send to update an organization
  - `name` string — Organization name
  - `alias` string — Organization alias (should match regex `[a-z0-9_]`)
  - `max_businesses` integer, nullable — Maximum number of local businesses the organization can have. It does not include the global (brand) businesses. If null, there is no limit for the organization. This field can only be set by a `PROVIDER` user.

## Response `200`

OK

- object — Result object
  - `org_id` integer — Unique identifier of an organization in Partoo.
  - `status` 'success' — Request status

## Other responses

- `400` — Your request is incorrect
- `401` — You are not authenticated
- `403` — You are not allowed to perform this action
- `404` — Resource does not exist
