# List a user's active sessions

`GET /users/{id}/sessions`

List active sessions of a PagerDuty user.

Beginning November 2021, active sessions no longer includes newly issued OAuth tokens.

Users are members of a PagerDuty account that have the ability to interact with Incidents and other data on the account.

Scoped OAuth requires: `users:sessions.read`

## Response `200`

A list of the user's active sessions.

    - `id` string, required
    - `user_id` string, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required — The date/time the user session was first created.
    - `type` 'browser' | 'oauth', required — The type of the session
    - `summary` string, required — The summary of the session

## Other responses

- `400` — Caller provided invalid arguments. Please review the response for error details. Retrying with the same arguments will *not* work.
- `401` — Caller did not supply credentials or did not provide the correct credentials. If you are using an API key, it may be invalid or your Authorization header may be malformed.
- `403` — Caller is not authorized to view the requested resource. While your authentication is valid, the authenticated user or token does not have permission to perform this action.
- `404` — The requested resource was not found.
- `429` — Too many requests have been made, the rate limit has been reached.
