# Update User Group Roles

`PUT /api/access/v2/user-groups/{groupId}/access-levels`

Use this API to update the roles of a user group by replacing the current set of roles with a new one.

## Path parameters

- `groupId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- PlatformAccessManagementPublicAccessLevelUpdateDto
  - `currentOrganizationId` string, uuid, required — The unique identifier of the organization currently associated with the user group.
  - `currentRoleId` string, uuid, required — The unique identifier of the role currently associated with the user group.
  - `newOrganizationId` string, uuid, required — The unique identifier of the replacement organization.
  - `newRoleId` string, uuid, required — The unique identifier of the replacement role.

## Response `204`

Access level updated successfully

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication
- `403` — Forbidden - Insufficient permissions
