# Update Risk Owners

`PUT /api/risk/v2/risks/{riskId}/owners`

Use this API to update the owners of a specific risk.

Risk owners cannot be updated for a risk in the Monitoring stage of default risk workflows.

## Path parameters

- `riskId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- TechRiskComplianceRiskRiskOwnerUpdateRequest
  - `riskOwners` TechRiskComplianceRiskBasicEntityDetail[] — List of risk owners
    - `id` string, uuid — Unique Identifier for the Entity
    - `name` string — Name for the Entity
  - `jsonAnyProperties` object

## Response `204`

No Content

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
