# Scan Application

`PUT /api/cmp/v1/application/{id}/scan`

Use this API to initiate an application scan with a file upload.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `201`

Created

- ApplicationScanResponsePublicDto
  - `scanId` string, uuid — Identifier of the created Application Scan

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
