# Get a list of subtopics

`GET /topics/{id}/subtopics`

Get a list of all documents for the specified ID contained in the stored list of subtopics.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

JSON object containing an array of subtopics.

- ListOfTopics — A list of topics.
  - `items` Topic[]
    - `description` string — A description of the topic.
    - `id` string — The ID of the topic.
    - `keywords` string[] — List of keywords that relate to the topic.
    - `links` object
      - `self` SelfHref
        - `id` string — The ID of the resource.
        - `href` string — The URL to the resource.
      - `subtopics` SubtopicsLink — A link to the subtopics of this topic.
        - `href` string — A URL to the subtopics of this topic.
      - `content` ContentLink — A link to the content for this topic.
        - `href` string — A URL to the content for this topic.
    - `slug` string — The slug of the topic.
    - `state` 'created' | 'published' | 'completed' — The state of the resource.
    - `subtopics_ids` string[] — Array of subtopic IDs.
    - `title` string — The title of the topic.
  - `total_count` integer — The total number of results available.

## Other responses

- `404` — The specified resource was not found.
- `500` — Failed to process the request due to an internal error.
