# Validates the deployment process for common non-blocking issues, such as missing deployment targets for tags used within the process steps.

`POST /spaces/{spaceIdentifier}/projects/{projectId}/{gitRef}/deploymentprocesses/validate`

## Response `200`

Contains the result of validation, such as warnings for the deployment process

- ValidateDeploymentProcessInGitResponse
  - `Details` object, required
  - `HasWarnings` boolean, required
  - `TagsWithoutTargetsByStepId` object, required

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request. Either the payload was not structurally valid or business rules did not permit the operation.
- `404` — Not found. One or more of the entities involved in the operation was not found.
