# Get the status of Octopus Server.

`GET /serverstatus`

Shows information about the status of the Octopus Server.

## Response `200`

A snapshot of the server's current status

  - `IsDatabaseEncrypted` boolean
  - `IsInMaintenanceMode` boolean
  - `IsMajorMinorUpgrade` boolean
  - `IsPotentialClone` boolean
  - `IsUpgradeAvailable` boolean
  - `LastModifiedBy` string
  - `LastModifiedOn` string, date-time
  - `Links` object
  - `MaintenanceExpires` string
  - `MaximumAvailableVersion` string
  - `MaximumAvailableVersionCoveredByLicense` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request. Either the payload was not structurally valid or business rules did not permit the operation.
- `404` — Not found. One or more of the entities involved in the operation was not found.
