# Requests the delta-signature for a given package. Used to optimize file upload.

`GET /packages/{packageId}/{version}/delta-signature`

## Path parameters

- `packageId` string, required
- `version` string, required

## Response `200`

Returns the delta-signature for a given package. Used to optimize file upload.

- PackageSignatureResource
  - `BaseVersion` string
  - `Signature` string, byte

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request. Either the payload was not structurally valid or business rules did not permit the operation.
- `404` — Not found. One or more of the entities involved in the operation was not found.
