# Gets the git references that match the given rule pattern for a project

`GET /{spaceId}/projects/{projectId}/git/refs`

## Response `200`

Response contain a set of Git references that match the rule pattern for the project

- GetMatchingRefsResponseV1
  - `References` ValidatedGitReferenceResource[], required
    - `CanonicalName` string, required
    - `Id` string
    - `LastModifiedBy` string
    - `LastModifiedOn` string, date-time
    - `Links` object
    - `Name` string, required
  - `TotalCount` integer, required

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request. Either the payload was not structurally valid or business rules did not permit the operation.
- `404` — Not found. One or more of the entities involved in the operation was not found.
