# Delete a notification

`DELETE /v2/subscribers/{subscriberId}/notifications/{notificationId}`

Delete a specific in-app (inbox) notification permanently by its unique identifier **notificationId**.

## Path parameters

- `subscriberId` string, required
- `notificationId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `contextKeys` string[]

- `429` — The client has sent too many requests in a given amount of time.
- `500` — Internal Server Error
- `503` — The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overload or scheduled maintenance, which will likely be alleviated after some delay.
