# Create Organization.

`POST /orgs`

Only works if [users.allow_org_create](https://grafana.com/docs/grafana/latest/administration/configuration/#allow_org_create) is set.

## Request body

- CreateOrgCommand
  - `name` string

## Response `200`

(empty)

- object
  - `message` string, required — Message Message of the created org.
  - `orgId` integer, required — ID Identifier of the created org.

## Other responses

- `401` — UnauthorizedError is returned when the request is not authenticated.
- `403` — ForbiddenError is returned if the user/token has insufficient permissions to access the requested resource.
- `409` — ConflictError
- `500` — InternalServerError is a general error indicating something went wrong internally.
