# Leave a project

`DELETE /projects/{project_id}/remove/me`

Remove the current user from a project they belong to.

## Path parameters

- `project_id` integer, required

## Query parameters

- `cookie_name` string, nullable

## Response `204`

Successful Response

## Other responses

- `401` — Missing or invalid authentication.
- `403` — Current user is not a member of the project.
- `404` — Project not found, or the user is not a member of it.
- `422` — Validation Error
