# Remove a single member

`DELETE /assistants/{assistant_id}/members/{user_id}`

Remove a specific user from the assistant's membership.

## Path parameters

- `assistant_id` integer, required
- `user_id` integer, required — ID of the member to remove.

## Query parameters

- `cookie_name` string, nullable

## Response `204`

Successful Response

## Other responses

- `401` — Missing or invalid authentication.
- `403` — Not the creator, or attempting to remove yourself as owner.
- `404` — Assistant does not exist, or the user is not a member.
- `422` — Validation Error
