# Check if a path can be archived from image

`HEAD /inspect/{image_uuid}/archive`

Checks if a file or a directory exists in the specified image without streaming the archive

## Path parameters

- `image_uuid` string, uuid, required — A UUID string

## Query parameters

- `path` string, required

## Response `200`

OK - The path exists in the image

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - Invalid request parameters
- `401` — Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication credentials
- `403` — Forbidden - Token does not have sufficient permissions
- `404` — Not Found - The path does not exist in the image or image does not exist
- `422` — Unprocessable Entity - The specified path is not a regular file or directory inside the image
