# Infer the likely gender of up to 100 names, detecting automatically the cultural context.

## Request body

## Response `200`

A list of genderized names.

- BatchFirstLastNameGenderedOut — Represents the output of inferring the LIKELY gender from a list of personal names.
  - `personalNames` FirstLastNameGenderedOut[] — Classified genderized names
    - `script` string
    - `id` string
    - `explanation` string
    - `firstName` string — The first name (also known as given name)
    - `lastName` string — The last name (also known as family name, or surname)
    - `likelyGender` 'male' | 'female' | 'unknown' — Most likely gender
    - `genderScale` number, double — Compatibility to NamSor_v1 Gender Scale M[-1..U..+1]F value.
    - `score` number, double — Compatibility to NamSor_v1 Gender score value. Higher score is better, but score is not normalized. Use calibratedProbability if available.
    - `probabilityCalibrated` number, double — The calibrated probability for inferred gender to have been guessed correctly. -1 = still calibrating.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request (ex. too many names)
- `401` — Missing or incorrect API Key
- `403` — Email not Verified, or API Limit Reached, or API Key Disabled
- `429` — Too Many Requests
