# Delete customer

`DELETE /customers/{customerId}`

Delete a customer. All mandates and subscriptions created for this customer will be canceled as well.

## Request body

- object
  - `testmode` boolean, nullable — Most API credentials are specifically created for either live mode or test mode, in which case this parameter must not be sent. For organization-level credentials such as OAuth access tokens, you can enable test mode by setting `testmode` to `true`. Test entities cannot be retrieved when the endpoint is set to live mode, and vice versa.

## Response `204`

An empty response.

## Other responses

- `404` — No entity with this ID exists.
- `429` — Rate Limit has been reached.
