# Connect a GitHub repository

`POST /v1/apps/{app_id}/connect-repo`

Connect a GitHub repository for automatic deploys on push.

After connecting, pushes to the configured branch will trigger
a build + deploy via the GitHub App webhook.

## Path parameters

- `app_id` string, required

## Request body

- ConnectRepoRequest — Request to connect a GitHub repo for auto-deploy.
  - `repo_url` string, required — GitHub repository URL
  - `branch` string — Branch to deploy from
  - `github_installation_id` integer, nullable — GitHub App installation ID

## Response `200`
