# Patch Annotation

`PATCH /projects/{projectId}/annotations/{annotationId}`

Patch an Annotation. Requires a role of at least Analyst.

## Request body

- object
  - `description` string — The text that will be shown when looking at the annotation
  - `tags` number[] — The ids of the tags to be added to the annotation

## Response `200`

Success

- GetAnnotationsResponse — A JSON response object containing an annotation'
  - `status` string, required — The status of the response
  - `results` AnnotationsEntry, required — Representation of a single annotation
    - `date` string — A string representation of a date in "YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss" format
    - `description` string — The text that will be shown when looking at the annotation
    - `id` number
    - `user` UserInfo — Info about the creator of the annotation
      - `id` number
      - `first_name` string
      - `last_name` string
    - `tags` SimpleTag[]
      - `id` number
      - `name` string
