# Causes the User (in the path) to unretweet the specified Tweet

`DELETE /2/users/{id}/retweets/{source_tweet_id}`

Causes the User (in the path) to unretweet the specified Tweet. The User must match the User context authorizing the request

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required — Unique identifier of this User. The value must be the same as the authenticated user.
- `source_tweet_id` string, required — Unique identifier of this Tweet. This is returned as a string in order to avoid complications with languages and tools that cannot handle large integers.

The request has succeeded.
