# Simulate release payment

`POST /v1/simulate/payments/release`

Simulates a release of a Payment.

## Request body

- SimulateOriginationReleaseRequest
  - `payment_token` string, uuid, required — Payment Token

## Response `200`

Created

- SimulatePaymentResponse
  - `result` 'APPROVED' | 'DECLINED', required
  - `transaction_event_token` string, uuid, required — Transaction Event Token
  - `debugging_request_id` string, uuid, required — Debugging Request Id

## Other responses

- `400` — A parameter in the query given in the request does not match the valid queries for the endpoint.
