# BookInStockItem

`POST /api/Stock/BookInStockItem`

Increases the stock level and current stock value of a stock item by the specified quantity.
<b>Permissions Required: </b> GlobalPermissions.Inventory.Stock.StockWrite.ChangeStockLevelsNode
<b>Rate limit: </b><span style="background-color:#0272d9;color:white;padding:4px 8px;text-align:center;border-radius:5px; font-size: small;"><b>150</b></span> / minute

## Request body

- StockBookInStockItemRequest
  - `stockItem` BookInStockItem — Book in parameters used to update stock items
    - `StockItemId` string, uuid — Id of the stock item
    - `LocationId` string, uuid — Id of the location
    - `QuantityReceived` integer — Quantity to be booked in
    - `CostPerUnit` number, double — Cost of the item for this order
    - `BinRack` string — Binrack of the item to be booked in.

## Response `204`
