# Reset a User Password

`PATCH /v1/users/{id}/reset-password`

Use this endpoint to reset a user's password. Ideal for recovery flows or admin-initiated resets.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- UserResetPasswordInput — Information used to reset a user's password.
  - `newPassword` string, required — New user password.

## Response `204`

If the request is successful, you will receive an empty response.
