# Delete a field map

`DELETE /v1/field-maps/{fieldMapId}`

Use this endpoint to delete a specific field map by its identifier.

## Path parameters

- `fieldMapId` string, required

## Headers

- `X-Request-Id` string

## Response `204`

Field map successfully deleted

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid field map ID
- `401` — The request lacks valid authentication credentials.
- `403` — You do not have permission to access this resource.
- `404` — Field map not found
- `500` — An unexpected error occurred on the server.
