# Update event attributes

`PUT /api/v1/events/{id}`

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Request body

- UpdateEvent
  - `token` string, required
  - `item` object
    - `name` string — event title
    - `start_date` string, date — the event start date
    - `end_date` string, date — the event end date
    - `description` string — text description for this event
    - `notify_members` string — who should be notified regarding the event: notify only me =[1], notify all participants = [-1], none =[0]
    - `notify_at` string, date — when to notify about the event
    - `is_fullday_event` boolean — true/false
    - `repeats` integer — 1/0
    - `repeat_frame` string — the time frame which the event will be repeated at - Never, days, weeks, months
    - `eventable_id` integer — the equipment id which the event is related to
    - `eventable_type` string — the item class name - System::Instrument
