Retrieve Prompt

Unified view for single prompt operations (retrieve/update/delete). Supports both JWT (dashboard) and API key (public API) authentication.

Superadmin: Can READ any prompt across all organizations via JWT. Can WRITE across organizations via JWT with an active staff_write:prompts (or broad staff_write) scope. Regular users: Can only access prompts in their organization.

JWT auth uses pk lookup, API key auth uses prompt_id (partial match).

Use your Respan API key for Respan API authentication. Enter only the Respan API key value; clients send Authorization: Bearer <RESPAN_API_KEY>. For /api/responses, provider credentials such as Perplexity, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI go in Settings -> Providers or respan_params.credential_override in the request body, not in this authentication field.
