# Get an import

`GET /v2/sites/{site_id}/imports/{import_id}/`

Get MRSS import source

## Path parameters

- `site_id` string, required — Unique identifier for a resource
- `import_id` string, required — Unique identifier for a resource

- ImportResourceRead — Resource representing an MRSS source
  - `schema` string
  - `id` string — Unique identifier for a resource
  - `created` string — Date and time at which the resource was created
  - `last_modified` string — Date and time at which the resource was most recently modified
  - `type` string — Name of the type of resource.
  - `relationships` object — Ancilliary resources associated to the primary resource being read
  - `total_items_ingested` integer — Total number of media imported from this source
  - `last_import` string, date-time — Date of the last import from this source
  - `metadata` ImportResourceReadMetadata
    - `url` string, required — URL that will be requested to import the MRSS feed
    - `host_on_import` boolean, required — Indicates whether or not the media should be hosted with JWX
    - `title` string, required — Title of the source
    - `type` 'feed' — Type of import
    - `username` string — Username used to access the MRSS feed at the URL when using Basic HTTP Authentication
    - `tags` string[] — Tags to be applied to all media added via this specific MRSS feed
    - `custom_params` CustomParamSchema — User-generated key-value pairs When defining `custom_params`, include all custom parameters that should be associated with the target resource. When updating existing `custom_params`, include all `custom_params` keys with their updated values. Any `custom_params` key-value pair not included within the updated `custom_params` in the request body is [deleted](https://docs.jwplayer.com/platform/docs/stream-faq-how-can-i-delete-a-custom-parameter).
    - `ingest_metadata` object — If available and enabled, maps the value of an MRSS element to JWX media metadata fields or creating tags for the imported media **NOTE**: If unspecified, all values are set to `true`. **MRSS element to JWX mapping**: - `media:text` -> captions - `media:category` -> category - `media:credit` -> credits - `media:description` -> description - `media:keywords` -> keywords - `pubDate` -> publish date - `media:tags` -> tags - `media:thumbnails` -> thumbnails
      - `captions` boolean
      - `categories` boolean

      - `publish_date` boolean
      - `tags` boolean
      - `thumbnails` boolean
    - `ingest_tags` string[] — If available, creates tags for the imported media from the values in name-spaced MRSS elements
    - `simple_ingest_custom_params` string[] — If available, creates custom parameters for the imported media from the values in name-spaced MRSS elements The example element names shown below are imported as **genre**, **rating**, and **language**.
    - `external_id_field_name` string — (Enterprise only) Value within the name-spaced MRSS element If available, the value is used as the `external_id` for the imported media. For example, given `<jp:ref_id>1234abcd</jp:ref_id>`, `1234abcd` is set as the value of `external_id`.
    - `password` boolean — Whether or not a password was specified when created
    - `state` 'error' | 'importing' | 'inactive' | 'paused' — Current import state

- `400` — Bad Request The request either lacks certain attributes or contains malformed/invalid attributes.
- `404` — Not Found The requested asset could not be found.
