# Retrieve an instrument

`GET /instruments/{id_or_symbol}`

Retrieve an instrument by ID or symbol. Note that the instrument has to be visible for your tenant to be accessible.

## Path parameters

- `id_or_symbol` string, required — The ID or symbol of the instrument to retrieve.
