# Issue toolkit key

`POST /toolkits/{toolkit_id}/keys`

Issue a new API key for a toolkit.

The plaintext value (`jntc_live_…`) is returned **once** in `api_key`. Issue
a fresh key, switch callers, then revoke the old one (do-and-then-revoke).

## Path parameters

- `toolkit_id` string, required

## Request body

- ToolkitKeyCreateRequest — Create a new key for a toolkit.
  - `allowed_ips` string[], nullable
  - `label` string, nullable

## Response `201`
