# Delete an article

`DELETE /articles/{article_id}`

You can delete a single article by making a DELETE request to `https://api.intercom.io/articles/<id>`.

- `article_id` integer, required

- DeletedArticleObject — Response returned when an object is deleted
  - `id` string — The unique identifier for the article which you provided in the URL.
  - `object` 'article' — The type of object which was deleted. - article
  - `deleted` boolean — Whether the article was deleted successfully or not.

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Article Not Found
