# Get Groups

`GET /groups`

Get a list of groups scoped by the query parameters.

## Query parameters

- `id` string — Group ID.
- `organizationId` string — Owning organization ID.
- `active` boolean — Whether or not the group is active.
- `cursor` string — Cursor for start of next set of items. Pass whatever you receive from the response to get the next elements in the array.
- `limit` number — Limit of items per page.

## Response `200`

Returns a list of groups that match the query parameters.

  - `items` Group[], required — List of groups that match the specified filter.
    - `id` string, required — The ID of the group.
    - `type` 'group', required — The type of object the attached ID corresponds to.
    - `name` string, required — The name of the group.
    - `description` string — The user provided description of the group.
    - `countryCode` 'US' | 'CA' | 'PR', required — The country code of the country the group is registered in.
    - `active` boolean, required — Whether or not the group is active.
    - `location` object — The location of the group.
      - `label` string, required — The human readable location of the group.
      - `coordinates` object, required — The coordinates that the group location is set to.
        - `lat` number, required — The latitude of the group location.
        - `lng` number, required — The longitude of the group location.
    - `organizationId` string, required — The organization this group belongs to.
    - `timezone` string, required — The timezone of the group. Represented as an IANA Zone ID.
    - `createdAt` string, required — An ISO-8601 string representing the date the group was created.
  - `cursor` string, nullable, required — Cursor for start of next set of items. If there were no items to return with the last cursor you passed, this will return null.
  - `hasMore` boolean, required — Whether there are more items to load past this cursor.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Not Found
- `422` — Unprocessable Entity
- `500` — Internal Server Error
