# Get the list of children directly connected to an Entity.  The children are the nodes one level below the current node.  This list only returns the items one level below in the graph.

`GET /children/{id}`

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

An array of children entities is returned

- object[]

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid or misformatted entity identifier
- `401` — The user's token has expired or the user did not supply a valid token
- `403` — The user is not authorized to access the entity
- `404` — The target entity could not be found
- `500` — Internal error
