# Delete firewall

`DELETE /api/vps/v1/firewall/{firewallId}`

Delete a specified firewall.

Any virtual machine that has this firewall activated will automatically have it deactivated.

Use this endpoint to remove unused firewall configurations.

## Path parameters

- `firewallId` integer, required
