# Create Account

`POST /account/create`

Creates a new Dropbox Sign Account that is associated with the specified `email_address`.

## Request body

- AccountCreateRequest
  - `client_id` string — Used when creating a new account with OAuth authorization. See [OAuth 2.0 Authorization](https://app.hellosign.com/api/oauthWalkthrough#OAuthAuthorization)
  - `client_secret` string — Used when creating a new account with OAuth authorization. See [OAuth 2.0 Authorization](https://app.hellosign.com/api/oauthWalkthrough#OAuthAuthorization)
  - `email_address` string, email, required — The email address which will be associated with the new Account.
  - `locale` string — The locale used in this Account. Check out the list of [supported locales](/api/reference/constants/#supported-locales) to learn more about the possible values.

    - `account_id` string — The ID of the Account
    - `email_address` string — The email address associated with the Account.
    - `is_locked` boolean — Returns `true` if the user has been locked out of their account by a team admin.
    - `is_paid_hs` boolean — Returns `true` if the user has a paid Dropbox Sign account.
    - `is_paid_hf` boolean — Returns `true` if the user has a paid HelloFax account.
    - `quotas` AccountResponseQuotas — Details concerning remaining monthly quotas.
      - `api_signature_requests_left` integer, nullable — API signature requests remaining.
      - `documents_left` integer, nullable — Signature requests remaining.
      - `templates_total` integer, nullable — Total API templates allowed.
      - `templates_left` integer, nullable — API templates remaining.
      - `sms_verifications_left` integer, nullable — SMS verifications remaining.
      - `num_fax_pages_left` integer, nullable — Number of fax pages left
    - `callback_url` string, nullable — The URL that Dropbox Sign events will `POST` to.
    - `role_code` string, nullable — The membership role for the team.
    - `team_id` string, nullable — The id of the team account belongs to.
    - `locale` string, nullable — The locale used in this Account. Check out the list of [supported locales](/api/reference/constants/#supported-locales) to learn more about the possible values.
    - `usage` AccountResponseUsage — Details concerning monthly usage
      - `fax_pages_sent` integer, nullable — Number of fax pages sent
    - `settings` AccountResponseSettings — Subset of configured settings

    - `expires_in` integer — Number of seconds until the `access_token` expires. Uses epoch time.

    - `warning_msg` string, required — Warning message
    - `warning_name` string, required — Warning name
