# Delete a project

`DELETE /projects/{id}`

Permanently deletes a project and its sections and files. Tasks, invoices, and other linked records may block deletion.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- DeleteProjectResult
  - `id` string, required — Project ID
  - `deleted` boolean, required — Whether the project was deleted

## Other responses

- `400` — Validation error or bad request
- `401` — Missing or invalid API key
- `403` — Insufficient permission
- `404` — Resource not found
- `429` — Rate limit exceeded
